✿ Flower pants ✿

Hi guys! (。’▽’。)

I mentioned some posts ago that I've bought a new pair of pants since I've discovered my love for fold up pants, I found them on H&M's sale. I don't think I would have bought them if they weren't so cheap... but now I really like them so I'm glad I did!

This is what I looked like today, it was so sunny and warm outside!

On my way to school this morning (。・ω・。)ノ (Borrowed Bro's denim jacket, I have yet found one myself!)

I found this short negligee last week when shopping with Bro, I've been looking for a short one for so long! I found it at Beyond Retro and it was a bargain like the pants  (´ ▽`) I also bought three pairs of frill socks from Topshop in different cute colours to be worn with fold up pants this spring/summer.

// Negligee: Beyond Retro (second hand) // Pants: H&M // Socks: Topshop //
Shoes: Bodyline // Earrings: Cute Can Kill // Flower headband: Made by me //

And today's face and hair! I've got some new lenses last week as well, I really like this pair I'm wearing in this photo. They're actually a bit yellow but gets this really nice shade when combined with my own eye colour (。♥‿♥。)

Lot's of love! ♥

"The mermaid had fallen in love"

Hello cuties!

As always, pardon my absence, I've been so busy with school lately (graduation is not far away though!!) and been feeling really uninspired.   (*´・v・)

Yesterday I walked as a model in my friend Josefin's runway show together with Bro, Olivia, Joss herself and Jözz, it was a lot of fun! Joss had designed all these cute clothes that we all secretly tried to steal back home for ourself. The collection was inspired by Japanese street fashion, mermaids and other magical creatures and was called "The mermaid had fallen in love." from some story that Joss likes. We all also had an "emotion" to represent, I was the sad girl lol  ヽ(;▽;)ノ

Sadly I didn't bring my camera with me, but I stole some pics from the other's phones anyway~

The designer Joss, Bro, me, Olivia and Jözz wearing the fabulous clothes ♡

We walked to the song "UZA" by AKB48 and some of the lyrics were printed on the clothes (as you can see on the dress Bro is wearing). We also had our legs painted with different shades of eyeshadow to get the mermaid look a bit (like if we had mermaid tails), It looks a bit weird in the pics but it was a really nice touch irl!

I was obviously violating Jözz backstage. ♡

We were trying to squeeze everyone in for a group photo and I since I stood in the back I had to stand on my tiptoes, well, as long as I could manage haha. I think I was one of the shortest models to walk in the show and since we didn't have any shoes on I felt like a hobbit standing next to the other models (〃・・〃)

Cute Joss getting her legs painted~

Sad girl and my angry Bro♡

Derp ♡

Afterwards we were so tired and actually fell asleep for a couple of hours before we woke up, made pizza and watched a movie for the rest of the night. I don't have any photos from the actual show yet, but I'll share them with you if I get my hands on any in the future!

Now i'm gonna go and join my Bro in bed with my stupid homework.. until next time squids! (‘∀’●)♡

Wants - April

TOKYO BOPPER platforms

I love shoes from Tokyo Bopper...♡ I really want a pair of  "Spider" models in black and a pair of "Ribbon" models in white.... *sigh* A girl can dream right? I've never got around to buy a pair since they're a bit expensive.... Check out Tokyo Bopper's online store for more fabulous shoes!

Oversized denim jacket

(Love the fact that I just noticed they're both wearing Tokyo Bopper shoes....)

I've been looking for a nice oversized denim jacket since last year... but i can't seem to find "the one" (I'm a bit picky...) and since every cool kid needs to own one atm they're ridiculously overpriced in the second hand stores and online... But the search goes on!

Chiffon skirts

Short or long - doesn't matter! As long as it's in a white/nude colour I'll want it, heh! I've had my eyes on this one from American Apparel for soooo long but it's a bit expensive so I always end up not buying it in the end.

So here's a few things I want (feel free to buy them to me) atm, or haha, these are things I've wanted for some time now, but when Spring is finally here I kind of want a "new wardrobe" a bit more intensly. (。・ω・。)ノ♡ Also I'm in the mood for pants atm which can be worn in cosy cult party-ish, I actually bought a pair that was on sale today, I'll show them soon!

Hey!♪ Come on!♪

Hello squids!  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  (<-- totally looks like me.)

Today on my way home from school I stopped by the post office and picked up my new shoes! I didn't have to pay any customs this time, lucky~ It's always such a bummer when you're picking up a package and have to pay half the value of the goods in customs again... (•‿•)

Love them to bits!

Turns out a JPN size 23 fits just perfect, finally a pair that's not huge on me like my black platforms...
I can't wait until these get a bit worn and damaged! I'm one of those who prefer my shoes looking worn and not bright white and new haha... Also the slight colour change between the platform sole and the actual shoe will become less noticeable.  (´∀`)

// Sweater: Bik Bok / Shoes: Nadia Flores en el Corazon / Necklacke: Cute Can Kill //

I'm not exaggerating when I say my old ones are a worn out...
They look miserable haha (・◇・) About time I got myself a new pair...

Remember when I mentioned in my previous post that I almost can't stand any other platform sneakers than the ones from Nadia? This is not just because I love Nadia and "omg brand" and everything, no. When the trend of platform sneakers just had started in Harajuku around 2010 sometime and I lived in Tokyo I often went to the Nadia store and looked at the shoes... but I never bought any because I thought they were a bit expensive. When I moved back to Sweden again I really regretted my decision and started to look online for a pair, I was thrilled when I found out that there were a lot of places that had embraced the trend and offered different styles and similar looking shoes, BUT, there was just something that put me off and I never bought a pair, because I noticed this:

Most of the different shops were so eager to offer cheap versions of the now popular shoes that this happened. I have nothing at all against cheap stuff and bargains, on the contrary I really enjoy it and I don't get the whole point of expensive stuff being better just because of the pricetag. BUT I just can't stand things that look cheap and are poorly made! I mean look at these shoes above, they didn't even bother to get the sole to be in the same size as the shoe! What the actual f*ck? I don't even think you tried. Seriously.

And that's the reason why I spend a small fortune on getting the Nadia platforms instead of just buying a pair from elsewhere. ʘ‿ʘ I'm the kind of person who cares waaay to much about clothes and easily gets stuck on details so don't take it personal if you do own a pair of these shoes haha, It's not even that noticeable but it really drives me nuts. My opinions won't stop you from looking fabulous in your shoes~ (´∇ノ`*)ノ

Now to something else, I've had this song stuck in my head all day!!! ♪ I didn't like AMIAYA's music that much at first.. but now... I don't even know anymore haha, what do you think?  ヽ(;▽;)ノ The video is so cute though, I love it! ♡♡♡

Lot's of love!

Happy♡

Hi squids, today was a good day! ♡ Just had one lesson in school, ate my first ice cream in the sun with my bff and received the news that I've got a scholarship I applied to. I hope you've all had a great day too!  (´ ▽`).。o♡

Here's today's look and a happy fashionsquid~

Pink & Platforms.

Hello cuties!♥ It's been silent here for like two weeks now, huh? I've just had my spring break this past week so I've been all over the place actually haha♡ Sorry~

Anyway, spring seems to finally be here! If you haven't heard before, most of Europe have completely forgotten how to Spring and it's been soooo cold even though it's supposed to be a bit warmer now...  Okay I admit there's still some snow left outside BUT I refuse to have winter anymore. (。’▽’。)

Used a lot of pink in my makeup today (。’▽’。)/♥

And I've finally found good and sheer white tights! Never underestimate the kid's section in clothing stores guys!
(If you're a bit on the short side like me and don't have really long legs that is!)

ALSO GUESS WHAT?
I've finally got my hands on a pair of Nadia original platform converse and I'm so so so happy! (。♥‿♥。) I've been searching for a pair in my size for like two years now? So when I saw them in an auction on mbok I knew I had to have them. I already have a pair in black (though I'm gonna have to buy a new pair soon since they're soooo worn out) so I went for a pair in off white (。’▽’。) I know there's are A LOT of "copies" of the nadia platforms out there, cheap ones on Ebay and other Japanese brands who have made their own designs etc. But I just.... hate those. (Don't take it personal if you own a pair, this is just my opinion!) They're just a bit ugly compared to the original ones from Nadia. I'll explain why when I get my new shoes and make a post about them~

My new babies! (人´∀`*)♥

Lot's of love!

Cute Can Kill! ♡

Hello squids!

Today I've had one of those days when you're just so tired of everything and feel like shit, so luckily for me this package from Cute Can Kill was waiting for me when I came home and really cheered me up~

I just looove the jewelry from Cute Can Kill, and the packaging which the things came in was just adorable~♡

Cute "postcard"  (´ ▽`).。o♡

This is what the bigger one of the bags contained;

An "Angel" necklace, an heart pendant with angel motif, a winged pair of earrings and a golden cross pair~

The smaller bag contaied a box with these;

Winged rings (人´∀`*)

I'm so super happy with these items, they're so cute and the quality is really good compared to other brands which carries "homemade" one of a kind jewelry (those I have experience of at least!) ♡

Sorry no photos of me wearing the jewelry today, I literally just came home from school and is exhausted haha♡ But you'll find the Cut Can Kill shop here (just updated with loads of cute items!) and their Facebook here!

Me and Sandy are going to have a photoshoot with all these cute items soon, so please look forward to those pictures~

Happy Friday everyone, hugs! (●´∀`)ノ♡

New hair... again!

Hi guys!

I've dyed my hair yet again, this time it turned out really purple... Not what I was aiming for but hey it kind of looks OK (●´∀`●)  It will disappear/get washed out soon anyway~  I really need to decide what I wanna do with my hair and stick to it...

Here's today's look for you as well, a quite boring but cute outfit;

// Dress: Nadia Flores en el Corazon // Blazer: H&M // Bag: Vivienne Westwood //
Shoes: Katie // Accessories: Spank!, Katie, handmade //

"How do you afford your clothes?"

Okay so I made a promise to write about this topic a looong time ago, haha, but as we all know by now I’m a bit lazy and neglect my blog from time to time. It’s nothing I do on purpose I just don’t feel like I have anything that’s interesting enough to write about.  ( ̄ー ̄)

Anyway, since I became interested in the Japanese fashion scene I’ve been asked many times questions such as; “How do you afford all your clothes?” or “How can you afford brand when it’s so expensive?”

Well, as we all know money does not grow on trees, (which sucks), the simple and boring answer is; Priorities. But before you read on, keep in mind that this is just my opinions, it’s totally alright if you disagree with my arguments. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ Also, when I talk about money in this post, I refer to the money which you spend on things you want and so on, not the money you need to pay your rent with etc.

Okay so let me explain what I mean by priorities. A good example is from when I dressed in Lolita fashion many years ago, I was always a bit stunned by the fact that girls who complained about ”not affording” brand such as Angelic Pretty etc because it was “too damn expensive” always seemed to have the money to buy Bodyline instead? Okay I know, Bodyline is a bit cheaper and so on, but still… instead of buying those three BL dresses, you could have bought one AP item? Apparently it wasn’t important enough with brand in the end?

I’ve always been very clear about what I want to spend my money on, and when I’ve decided I save and work until I have enough to afford that item. It’s simple and it works. It might take some time before you’ll get there, but you will eventually.

Another example is when people say stuff like “Oh I want to go to Japan so bad, but I can’t afford it!” And then the next day you’ll see they post a new picture of their new tattoo on Facebook, or some other thing they’ve just spent a small fortune on. It’s all the same as before; it clearly wasn’t important enough to you.  If you want something, it can be anything, clothes or just good grades in school it doesn’t matter, you’ve got to decide that this is your priority right now and work towards that goal. You can’t expect things to come for free or just happen, can you?

Also if you’re dressing in a style that’s inspired by Japan, that doesn’t mean that the clothes you wear has to come from Japan you know.  You can easily find similar clothes or make them yourself and save like 50% of the price it would have cost you to buy that original item. Like the flower headbands I wear now and then, I was going to buy a headband from TOPSHOP at first but then I realized how easy it would be to make one myself. So instead of paying the 300 SEK which the ones from TOPSHOP cost, I bought material for about 50 SEK and made two different ones.  Don’t underestimate homemade stuff guys! (´∇ノ`*)ノ

When you buy brand you’ll often pay for the name. I mean come on; all of us who likes and dresses in Japanese brands know that the quality often isn’t a bit better than the quality of, let’s say, H&M clothes (ofc with a few exceptions!). They’re probably even made in the same factory in China somewhere, and that’s just how it works!

So if the brand doesn’t mean the world to you, you might want to debate whether to actually buy that Glad News leather jacket for 34,000 yen or just buy an almost identical looking one from H&M for like 4000 yen.  I’ve been thinking about doing an Expensive VS Less expensive outfit post soon, like I put together two similar looking outfits but with clothes of different price range, would you guys be interested in that? (`・ω・´)”

Lot's of love! ♡
