フクロウのみせ ♡ Owl café

Since school starts again this week me and some friends wanted to do something special on the last days of our break so we visited an owl café! I can't begin to explain how amazing it is to see these beautiful birds up close and actually be able to hold them and pet the little cuties.♡
This one was my favourite, we became best friends and cuddled like there was no tomorrow. ♡
They have around 20 owls I think in both badass-i'm-a-wizard-at-hogwarts-size and dwarf-too-small-and-too-cute size! It's ¥2,000 for an hour and one drink (which you'll forget about because you know, owls) included in the price.
The lady who owns the place clearly was very passionated about owls and cared for them a lot. I'm always a bit unsure when I go to animal themed cafés here in Japan because you never know if the animals are actually properly cared for or not but I got the feeling the owls were very satisfied with their little part-time job, haha.
Mr. Grumpy looking here might seam a bit scary but he was actually a complete sweetheart who liked to put his fluffy belly all over your head.♡ I was suprised by how heavy the big owls actually were!
This happy little guy was actually still a baby and had no control over his fluff whatsoever.♡
The café is called フクロウのみせ (;fukurou no mise) and located in Tsukishima which is not hard to reach from central Tokyo at all! I really recommend you to visit this place if you have the chance, it's a really nice experience and I will definitely go there again in the future.
Here's the café's blog where you'll find more information about opening hours etc, but they only do reservations in person one hour before the café opens, so be there on time and hope for the best!
Until next time! (´∀｀)♡
Ready for autumn.

Autumn is my favourite season of the year and as per usual i'm really excited for colder weather, cozy scarfs and being able to wear lots of layers again. Here in Japan "the first day of autumn" has already occured but it's still summer weather (well, more like the swedish summer i'm used to at least) outside and coat weather still seams super far away... but when it comes i'm ready. Today I thought I'd show you guys some of my recent buys from the past weeks!
The day before yesterday me and my roommate did some shopping in Shibuya and as always I visited my favourite vintage shops Grimoire. In the end I came home with a beautiful hairclip I've been eyeing for ages (which I thought wouldn't fit me before but now that I've cut my hair it looks great!) and a cute blouse.
It's a "modern version" of the "Lover's eye miniatures"! In short these were popular to wear as a remembrance of loved one and for sentimental reasons back during the Georgian era. There's a lot of interesting facts about these jewelry out there so if you're interested you should browse around a bit!
The blouse (in desperate need of ironing), I really liked the collar on this one and it's a short model so it's perfect to wear with high-waisted skirts/pants.
Some new accessories in gold! The rings are bought in a vintage shop in Koenji, the bracelet from some small boutique and was super cheap (really wish I could get one of these in better quality...) so let's see how long it lasts and then finally some cute hairpins from an accessory store in Lumine Shinjuku.
This hat was a complete impulse buy from a vintage shop in Koenji. I tried it on just for fun at first but then it kind of looked so good when worn and wasn't at all that expensvie so I ended up buying it (with some encouragement from my friend, haha). It's kind of ridiculous. isn't it? ♡ I'm really looking forward to wear it this fall/winter!
And last I've bought a new coat from MURUA in the perfect shade of green, perfect model and I love it to bits. Unfortunately it won't do well on pictures when not worn so i'm just gonna show you guys this sneak peek and wait until I have proper pictures of it instead.
Combined with this faux fur stole and my fox brooch I made last year I'm gonna look like an old lady... can't wait. ♡
Until nex time!
I trusted you.

Yesterday I hanged out with my bro and did some catching up and shopping in Harajuku, we've both been super busy lately so it was really nice.❤ We met up for lunch at The Sad Cafe which is a "80's" themed place with cheap and good food.
I stumble across street snap photoshoots almost everytime I walk through the backstreets of Harajuku, it always makes me super happy since I'm a huge fan of many street snap sites etc. （*´▽｀*）

My outfit of the day! Me and bro kind of ended up in matching plaid shirt outfits when we got dressed in the morning. (´ ▽｀) It's been kind of chilly (well, compared the super hot weather that was the middle of August...) lately and it feels really nice to be able to wear clothes without dying again. Also HATS, just give me hats and autumn and I'll be a happy squid.
Then of course we ended up spending a few hours drinking coffee and spying on people after the stores had closed for the day, some espresso shots later and the adventure continued out in the night. ♡
Until next time! (´ε｀ )
Here we go again

First of all; as usual I'm sorry for being absent for so long. My life is busy busy busy... sadly I've never been one of those who are good at doing 12345765 things at the same time. Second; I want you guys to know that I'm super flattered by the sweet messages you send me! Knowing that people actually enjoy reading my silly ramblings makes me smile like crazy, so thank you for your patience, you're the cutest bunch of readers ever. ❤
Lately Tokyo for me has evolved from not only nights lit up by neon signs but also small everyday moments like breakfast on the balcony with my roomate, the sun shining in through the windows making my bedroom glow all softly. I guess the feeling of "being home" really has settled in or something and I love it to bits.
Here's one of my new tops I talked about in my last post! Print design by one of my favourite illustrators;
愛☆まどんな (Ai☆Madonna), here in a collaboration with 日本ツインテール協会 (Japan Twintail Association).
Another cute sweater that I bought, Love Story, by 愛☆まどんな (Ai☆Madonna).
I guess moments like these are gonna be few from now on though since we're soon entering the rainiest month of the year, yay (not).
That's all for now, lots of love! (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡
Hello from a sunny Tokyo!

I'm kind of sick (again???) and couching my lungs up every minute, but otherwise it's Golden Week here in Japan and i'm free from school!
Yesterday me and Karro walked around in Shimokitasawa (which I love love love need to write a post about it soon) and did some shopping and enjoyed the lovely spring weather. I found some things I'll show you in a post soon!
This was my look for the day!
// Cardigan: American Apparel // Shirt, skirt, belt: second hand // Clutch bag: My Dad's old //
Socks: Tutuanna // Shoes: Nadia Flores en el Corazon //
I've changed my hair a bit again, it was grey for a while but it's such a hard colour to keep and now it kind of has turned in to this... ash blonde thing? It's okay but I'll need to fix it soon!
Cutest cafe where they bake the bread used for the bagels themself in the store, super delicious!
Some game center and purikura later we made our way to our friends apartment for a dramatic tournament of UNO. Now I'm off to IKEA with some friends to feel a bit Swedish and jump in the beds, xoxo!

The last few days the Sakura (cherry blossom trees) has finally started to bloom! It's super pretty and walking home under the trees while the petals slowly fall to the ground feels like walking in a dream or something. My street is next to a river which is lined by sakuras trees in full bloom at the moment!
I though I'd share some pics with you guys ❤
This is the view from my balcony!
Selfie with Buddah.

I call this picture; "Ultimate Confusion of the Tourists".
My roommate Karro's family is currently in Tokyo visiting and yesterday I decided to join their tourist adventure as well!
We took the train for about an hour and ended up in Kamakura where there's a lot of old temples and also where the Daibutsu (Great Buddah) statue is located.
I don't think Karro enjoys my hugs that much...
The photographer family. (Seriously they're a bunch of paparazzis ♡ )
Tourist look of the day!
Then we climbed a mountain to visit a small shrine on the top... great view but ouch my legs after all those stairs, haha. Afterwards we decided to make our way to Daibutsu (Great Buddah) and started walking through the streets of Kamakura (which are adorable, need to come here again and visit other places than temples soon!).
Apparently there can never be too many vending machines in a row.
Compulsory selfie with Buddah-chan.
And that's about it! I was super tired and had a terrible migraine in the end of the day so I went home and fell asleep right away. I haven't slept for this long in ages so I guess I kind of needed it...
Now i'm off to snap some pictures of the beautiful sakura trees on our street and then it's time for Mamma Mia! the musical! I've seen it in Swedish so many times it's gonna be a weird experience to see it performed in Japanese.
Until next time! （*＾3＾）/～♡
